This year, EDC\u00ae celebrates 25 years in business – a milestone that\u2019s both humbling and energizing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past quarter century, we\u2019ve seen technology shift dramatically – from on-prem systems to cloud platforms, from manual processes to real-time data exchange, and now from automation to AI-driven intelligence. Through every evolution, one thing has remained constant: our responsibility to build technology that truly serves the people using it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anniversaries invite celebration, but they also invite reflection. Here are 25 lessons I\u2019ve learned over 25 years of building, scaling, and sustaining a technology company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Architecture decisions outlive trends. Choose wisely.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  4. Security is not a feature \u2014 it\u2019s a responsibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Purpose-built, private AI will always outperform generic tools in specialized industries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Listen closely to customers, but don\u2019t outsource your vision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. The best product ideas come from workflow friction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Scalability isn\u2019t just about growth \u2014 it\u2019s about stability under pressure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Hire people smarter than you and give them room to build.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  24. Stay curious. Complacency is the quiet risk in tech.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  25. After 25 years, the most important lesson is this: we\u2019re still learning.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Twenty-five years in technology has taught us that change is constant \u2014 but principles matter. Technology will continue to shift. Tools will change. Platforms will evolve. But our commitment remains the same: to build intelligent, resilient systems that empower the industries we serve. Build with integrity. Invest in people. Design for the long term. Stay curious.
